My 3 Favorite Hotels to Stay at While Traveling to Edmonton

Edmonton has always been close to my heart. As a writer, I love to travel to different places. I haven’t been that far yet. I have only focused on cities in North America. In Canada, Edmonton is a city I frequently visit, especially during the summer months. Edmonton, by far, also has more greenery compared to the other cities in Canada.

When staying in Edmonton, I always consider myself on vacation. Because of that, I make sure that I only choose a very comfortable place for accommodation. I am not the backpacker type. I love convenience and calmness. I also appreciate the grandeur of a hotel, and use it as an inspiration in my writing.

As a result, I have 3 favorite hotels in Edmonton. They are the following:

The Sutton Place Hotel

This hotel spells ultimate luxury. Upon entering the vicinities of the hotel, it is very easy to spot its crystal chandeliers, marble and granite fixtures, luxurious and soft Persian carpets, uniquely styled furnishings, as well as their highly skilled service professionals.

Since I travel on leisure, I consider The Sutton Place Hotel as a good location, as it is accessible to the main stores in the area. Convenience is at its best while staying in this hotel. The rooms are also perfect, complete with artwork, and attractive furnishings. Even staying in the lobby of the hotel already gives me the motivation to write.

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald

What I love about this hotel is that it is located high on the bank, and overlooking the biggest parkway all over North America, the North Saskatchewan River Valley. The elegance and charm of this hotel is perfect for every occasion, and for every reason of travel, whether it is for business or leisure.

Another thing that I love the most about the Fairmont Hotel is its food. The opportunity they offer is exquisitely delightful. Not to mention the very attentive and courteous staff that ultimately makes my visit a very memorable one.

Ramada

Ramada, on the other hand, is Edmonton’s largest conference hotel. Therefore, everytime I visit the city for a business conference, or a writers’ seminar, I always get to stay in this luxurious hotel. This is also a famous place where concerts and events are held. They also mainly offer packages for other events such as weddings, and other occasions.

My thirst for a classic, yet affordable place to stay is answered everytime I stay in Ramada Hotel. Their staff is very capable of serving their guests in the best way possible. Indeed, Edmonton is the place to be. I have only talked about my accommodation. What happens outside is more glamorous, and adventurous, not to mention the presence of natural attractions, such as botanical gardens and parks. The city is also home to different malls and shopping centers which ultimately makes my stay in the city a very rewarding one.
